Burgundy Diamond Mines is a resources company focused on the mining, production, cutting, polishing, grading and sale of diamonds. Founded in Perth, Western Australia, Burgundy is positioning itself to be a sector leader through its unique vertically integrated business model and its acquisition of the world-renowned Ekati Diamond Mine asset in Canada’s Northwest Territories.
Ekati is Canada’s first surface and underground diamond mine and is renowned for the premium gem-quality diamonds it produces. Burgundy also holds a 40 percent interest in the Naujaat Diamond Project located nine kilometers from the Naujaat community in Nunavut, Canada.

Our offices are located in Calgary, Canada and Perth, Western Australia, with an additional sales office in Antwerp, Belgium. Burgundy also owns and operates Australia’s only commercial diamond cutting, polishing and grading facility, based in Perth. This world class operation employs some of the most experienced and talented artisans in the industry, having cut the world-renowned Argyle Pink diamonds for the past 30 years.
Burgundy is part of CanadaMark™, a globally recognized brand and certification program that assures manufactures, retailers and customers, that Burgundy diamonds are sustainably produced and support ethical investment in Canadian Northern Indigenous communities. This end-to-end business model with total chain of custody additionally provides traceability along every step of the process, with Burgundy able to safeguard the ethical production of the diamonds from mining to marketing and discovery to design. Burgundy is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange as ASX:BDM.
